1 cup Hot water.
1 cup Dates. remove the seeds. If you have it paste it would be bitter.
2 eggs
1/2 cup suger
1/2 cup oil
1 cup flour
1 tbsp baking powder.
1/3 tsp cinammon powder.
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract or pinch of vanilla powder
how to make dates cake
preheat oven 165°c
In a bowl, put the dates and hot water, leave them for about 30min.
In another bowl, put eggs and vanilla and mix well.
add suger and mix.
add oil and mix.
mix the dates paste then add it to the eggs mixture, mix them verry well.
mix all dry ingredients together then add them to the mixture spoon by spoon.
in baking tray, add the cake mixture, and bake for about 30min. for sure, you must keep eye on it after the first 20 minutes.
you can injoy it with caramel topping and nuts.
